While at Daley Plaza, make sure you check out the 64-foot tall Colorado Spruce Christmas tree, complete with 15,000 twinkling lights.

A Hanukah concert at the Chicago Botanic Gardens will delight audiences. There are two special shows on December 9 and tickets also include entrance to the Wonderland Express Exhibition.

The Wonderland Express is a holiday train exhibit (running through January 6) that depicts miniature Chicago landmarks, all made from natural materials. Visitors can also enjoy the numerous holiday decorations and a massive gingerbread house display. You won’t be able to miss this event because the Chicago Botanic Garden staff has already been hard at work, trimming the entrance to the Regenstein Center with 750,000 lights!

Now in its 29th year, this tradition involves the screening of two beloved holiday classics, “White Christmas” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.” This event takes place from December 14 through the 24 so this gives you a lot of flexibility when making your jet charter travel plans.

Star Trek fans won’t want to miss a remixed version of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, a Klingon Christmas Carol. Catch it thru December 30 at the Raven Theatre.
